The situation
You are logging when each invoice was chased. The date needs to be the day you made the call and must not change tomorrow, so TODAY() is exactly wrong here — it would rewrite your entire log overnight.
On a Mac, Cmd counts as Ctrl. Tab still moves focus, so you can always leave this field.
